The Ferguson Township Police Department is investigating an assault that occurred Saturday at the Blockbuster Video, 1101 N. Atherton St.

An unknown male assaulted another male inside the store and then fled the store in a dark color Hyundai Elantra.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a stocky build and scruffy facial hair. He has short strawberry blonde hair and freckles.

Witnesses told police there was a white female and a Rotweiler dog in the suspect's vehicle. The female was described to have blond dreadlocks.
