Letter to the Editor
Readers respond to column on Iraq's connection to al Qaeda

I just read Andrew Criado's column ("Mounting evidence proves Iraq's connection to Al Qaeda, despite liberals' denials," Nov. 20). Good stuff. Another half-assed and intellectually dishonest piece to add to his portfolio. And more of his pathetic generalizations about liberal -- Ann Coulter would approve. Granted, people who are serious about what goes on in the world, and our role in it, would not.

But his style is cute. Let me give it shot.

Here are some questions. Why are conservatives so easily manipulated by the Bush Administration's crude and obvious attempts to scare the public into following him blindly? Isn't that what cowards do? Why do conservatives despise all public dissent of our secretive and dishonest president, the first president to enter office with a criminal record? Why do conservatives continue to support the war in Iraq with information that has been proven false? And finally, why do conservatives love to bash liberals by reminding us that Stalin was a "leftist," but conveniently forget that the Nazis were right-wingers?

Why? Because conservatives like Andrew Criado hate everything America stands for!
