A Penn State student reported an unknown male entered her dorm room while she was sleeping between 3 and 4 a.m. Friday. The male touched her inappropriately and fled the scene when she woke up, Penn State Police Services said.
The victim described the suspect as a black male and about 5 feet, 8 inches tall. It has not been determined if the suspect is a Penn State student, police said.
Penn State police are organizing a series of four meetings with residence hall advisors, during which they plan to discuss general safety measures.
This is at least the seventh indecent or sexual assault since late August in which the victim did not know the suspect.
