It disgusts me how Andrew Criado is allowed to print his opinion week after week without a balancing writer from the more majority left ("Improving U.S. economy is proof Bush's tax cuts worked -- to Democrats' dismay," Nov. 6). Criado talks about how Bush has improved the economy for the first quarter since he's been in office and he wants us to stand and applaud. The funny thing to me is that he doesn't go into details about the tax cut, he simply tries to bash the left, like he does in all his writings. Stick to the facts. Stick to the numbers. Students don't need any more dirt slinging.
By the way, you will know when the economy has turned around when you and your fellow classmates will once again be able to find good jobs after you graduate. Until then, we don't need to applaud Dubya for starting to clean up a mess that he created.
