All dressed up and nowhere to go?

Collegian Staff Writer

Start the celebration early at Tony's Big Easy, 129 S. Pugh St. Tony's will be hosting its annual costume party, the "Monster Mash Bash," tonight.

"From what I understand, Thursday is the biggest dress-up night here in town, so that's when our party is," Anthony Sapia, owner and manager of Tony's Big Easy, said. "But if people want to wear costumes on Friday too, that's great. There is no cover for people in costume on either night."

For those who care to celebrate football over Halloween festivities, bars such as Café 210 West, 210 W. College Ave., are focusing the weekend towards this crowd.

"Since it's a football weekend, we're not planning anything big for Halloween," Hal McCullough, owner of the Café, said. "We will certainly be decorated for Halloween, but with it being Ohio State weekend, we aren't doing anything specific for the holiday."

Bar Bleu, 114 S. Garner St., will also gear music and focus towards the football crowds, while not forgetting Halloween celebrations with specialty drinks including the "Halloween Blackout."
