Field hockey faces tough Villanova team

Just two games remain in a season that held so many hopes and dreams for great things. After a season of ups and downs, the dreams are not unattainable,

The Penn State field hockey team (14-4, 3-2) takes on the Villanova Wildcats (11-5) tonight in a game that has serious postseason implications. The Lions are coming off a loss to Michigan State and the Wildcats a 2-0 victory over Providence.

Penn State head coach Charlene Morett is happy with the way her team is playing and is preaching a "one game at a time" mentality.

"This late in the season every game is crucial," she said. "We need to play every game like it is the most important game of the season because we are battling for position in the NCAA tournament. [Today's] game is no different."
