Matthew Friedman, one of nine Penn State students arrested during a drug sweep last March, entered a guilty plea yesterday at the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte. The charges included possession and delivery of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communication facility.
Last year, Penn State Police Services and the Centre County Drug Task Force swept the campus, armed with search and arrest warrants.
During the sweep, they seized $112,700 worth of illegal substances, as well as $12,000 in cash and one Taurus 40-caliber handgun.
Friedman's sentencing is set for Dec. 15.
