Theft: An unknown person stole a $1,400 laptop computer from an office on the 600 block of South Sparks Street, the State College Police Department said. The incident was reported at 10:15 a.m. yesterday, but police said they do not know when the theft occurred.

Theft: Six tires were stolen from three new vehicles late Monday or early yesterday at Stocker Chevrolet, 701 Benner Pike. The tires are valued at $1,500 total.
