ABC will show Penn State's Big Ten clash with Ohio State on Saturday, November 1 to a regional audience. Kickoff has been set for 3:30 p.m. in Beaver Stadium, and the game is sold out.
The telecast is the eighth announced TV appearance of the season for the Nittany Lions. Penn State has appeared on three ABC telecasts (Boston College, Nebraska and Purdue), once on ESPN (Minnesota) and twice on ESPN Regional (Temple and Wisconsin). The Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 110 of their last 112 games.
Penn State and Ohio State will be meeting for the 11th consecutive year since the Nittany Lions began Big Ten play in 1993. The home team has won nine of the 10 meetings as conference foes, with Penn State posting a 3-1 mark vs. the Buckeyes at home.
The Nittany Lions lead the overall series, 10-8, with a 4-2 record against the Buckeyes in Happy Valley. Last year, Penn State held OSU without an offensive touchdown, but the Buckeyes earned a hard-fought 13-7 win in Ohio.
Penn State returns to action Saturday, visiting No. 16 Iowa at noon. ABC will televise the contest to a regional audience.
