Lions' game with Iowa to be televised on ABC

ABC Sports will televise Penn State's Big Ten Conference road clash at No. 9 Iowa on Saturday, October 25 to a split national audience.

The Nittany Lions will be making their fourth appearance this season on ABC.

Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m. CDT/12:00 p.m. EDT in Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City.

The telecast is the seventh announced TV appearance of the season for the Nittany Lions. Penn State has appeared on three ABC telecasts (Boston College, Nebraska and Purdue), once on ESPN (Minnesota) and twice on ESPN Regional (Temple and Wisconsin).

The Nittany Lions have appeared on television in 110 of their last 112 games.

Penn State leads the series with Iowa, 10-7, but the Hawkeyes have won the last three meetings, including a 42-35 overtime decision in Beaver Stadium last season.

In the Nittany Lions' last trip to Iowa City, the Hawkeyes posted a 24-18 win.
