Readers respond to column on placement of religious symbols

Liberal people claim to be open minded and more enlightened than the rest of us. Why is it that whenever someone voices an opinion different than theirs, they view it as wrong and close minded? I will tell you why -- liberals are hypocrites. I myself am a moderate. Although I disagree with most liberal opinions, I will listen to them without passing judgement. Try offering a conservative opinion to a someone who claims to be a liberal. I guarantee you they will call to you closed minded, homophobic, sexist or their favorite word those who don't agree with them, "a racist." Liberal people need to open their minds to others than may have more conservative view points then them. This politically correct war they are waging on society is wearing thin with most. They are everything they claim to be against.
