A Colorado man was arraigned yesterday after he allegedly exposed his genitalia to a woman in the laundry room of the Marriot Residence Inn, 1555 University Drive.
Bradley Davison Post, 46, appeared before District Justice Allen Sinclair at 3:10 p.m. in Phillipsburg for an indecent exposure charge.
According to court documents, the victim entered a second-floor laundry room in the hotel when she saw a man sitting on a table.
As she turned to look at the man, the victim realized he was not wearing any clothing from the waist down.
"He was holding a newspaper up high, covering his face and did not make any attempt to cover himself," the victim said, according to court documents. She then exited the laundry room and contacted police.
Post admitted to not wearing any clothing from the waist down in the laundry room and to intentionally exposing himself to the victim.
"Did I offend some women? ... I didn't mean to," Post is reported as saying. "In a way, I suppose it was my way of trying to get a date."
Post has been placed in Centre County Prison in lieu of $2,500 straight bail, said Sgt. John Wilson of the State College Police Department.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled to take place at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 1 at Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte.
