Penn State wrestler, Kerry McCoy advanced to the finals of the World Championships of Wrestling, in New York over the weekend.

McCoy lost in overtime, 4-1 to Artur Taymazov of Uzbekistan, in the heavyweight division.

McCoy came into the tournament the No. 9 seed, while Taymazov was seeded No. 18.
