Gay partner benefits not right for Penn State

I was disappointed when I read how Penn State was considering giving benefits to the partners of its homosexual faculty members. To formally recognize homosexuality and put it on equal footing with heterosexuality is a clear break from the nearly 2000 years of Western civilization and natural law.

Homosexuality is condemned in the Old and New Testaments. It is a sin against the very nature of man, considered as such by all. As we know, the Supreme Court recently decriminalized sodomy. The Court's rationale was the protection of personal liberty. However, liberty cannot be considered synonymous with license.
