A female student was sexually assaulted at about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday while walking on a path between Fenske and Althouse buildings, Penn State Police Services said. Police were contacted soon after the incident, and the victim was treated for minor injuries at Centre Community Hospital.
According to a police report, the unknown male approached her from behind and carried the victim to an area next to the Fenske Building. He forced her to the ground and lowered her shorts and undergarments. The victim screamed and was able to get away. The attacker is described as a white male in his early 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall with short, dark hair brushed forward and a goatee and no mustache. He was carrying a white backpack, and was wearing white baggy pants and a white shirt.
