Letter to the Editor
Republicans neccessary for real national safety

I have to disagree with the column about liberalism ("Though fallacies of liberals abound, it's better to take a stance than remain silent," Sept. 5).

Liberals almost destroyed America with the Vietnam war and the endless tax-and-spend policies since 1932. Thankfully that idea died with the glorious 1994 Republican takeover of Congress.

Liberals would rather hug a terrorist than send him to the gallows.

Since September 11, Americans have been fed up with the Liberal way of thinking of playing nice with terrorists. Republicans are the guardians of the flag and of national security.

If Liberals got power back, they would give terrorists free reign.

America wants leaders that will make America safe. Liberals and Democrats do not have the resolve to keep America safe.

The nine Democrats that are trying to become president all look weak when it comes to national security.

I am very grateful that we have a Republican president that will hunt down any enemy of America.

This is my warning to liberals and Democrats; Republicans control America, get used to it because we will rule this great land for decades to come.
