Police Log

Theft: Twenty pledge class paddles, valued at $1,000, and nine trophies of an unknown value were reported stolen from Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity, 417 E. Prospect Ave., the State College Police Department said. The theft occurred sometime during the 37th annual Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, police said.

Theft: A black Cannondale R800 Sport road bike, valued at $1,245, was reported stolen from The Bicycle Shop, 441 W. College Ave. Thursday afternoon, the State College Police Department said. Earlier that day, a middle-aged man came in to look at a bike, police said. A store clerk allowed the man to take the bike for a test drive without taking any identification and the man never returned with the bike, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
