The Bryce Jordan Center has received the honor of first in concert ticket sales among university venues throughout the world, according to Pollstar magazine's Mid-year Business Analysis report.
The largest arena between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, the Jordan Center outsold venues located in larger market areas, like Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Chicago.
The national weekly publication for the concert touring industry also named the Jordan Center 31st in ticket sales with an overall tally of 99,936, between the dates of Jan. 1, 2003 and June 30, 2003.
During the spring semester and summer, the Jordan Center has featured a wide variety of acts including Bon Jovi, 50 Cent, Pearl Jam, Journey, Yanni, Brooks and Dunn and Cher.
