The Penn State Board of Trustees heard recommendations at its last meeting from Penn State's Cost Savings Task Force to reorganize the 2003-04 budget. The changes are estimated to save the university $11.4 million.

The surveillance cameras above Beaver Avenue will not be in service for the 37th annual Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, State College Police Chief Tom King said.

HARRISBURG -- Pennsylvania motorcyclists are one step closer to legally riding with their hair whipping in the wind after the state Senate voted yesterday to repeal the helmet mandate.
