Two football team members were issued citations for underage drinking April 26 outside Nittany Apartments.

Police said Andrew Richardson, 20, possessed a partially full 12-ounce can of Natural Light beer. Tyler Reed, 20, was in possession of a plastic cup containing about 2 ounces of whiskey.

Both players were fined and received 90-day drivers license suspensions. A Dec. 30 hearing has been scheduled to determine whether each has completed his Youthful Offender Program class, to take place during fall semester.
