Today's University Park forecast

Showers and thunderstorms will impact the region today as an area of low pressure passes through the Commonwealth. This system will clear the region by Saturday morning, resulting in slightly clearer skies. High pressure will build across the Great Lakes Sunday and Monday, bringing below normal temperatures to central Pennsylvani. Temperatures will rebound to near normal by the start of the new week. Another low pressure system will move toward the Mid-Atlantic states by Monday evening, bringing the next round of showers to Happy Valley.
