Santorum should resign after offensive words

On Wednesday, I attended the Williamsport Town Hall Meeting. I attended this meeting with Tom Donohue, a close friend of mine.

At the meeting, he confronted Sen. Rick Santorum (R-Pa). His statement was excellent. All Santorum did was basically repeat his statement with some different things. He said he will not apologize and not resign.

Sen. Santorum has offended the gay community by this statement: "If the Supreme Court says that you have the right to consensual [gay] sex within your home, then you have the right to bigamy, you have the right to polygamy, you have the right to incest, you have the right
to adultery. You have the right to anything."

I also agree with Tom Donohue that Sen. Santorum should resign. I do not want him representing me anymore for I am also a proud gay resident of the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. I also believe many other gay students have been offended by his statement and would like to see him removed from the Senate.
