Accidental damage: Penn State Police Services reported a Penn State staff member, driving a Penn State-owned vehicle, hit and knocked down a light pole at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday in Lot Green E.

The light pole fell and hit another Penn State-owned vehicle, police said.

The estimated value of damage to the light pole was $1,400, but the value of damage to the vehicles is unknown, police said.

Theft: A student reported her backpack and its contents stolen between 9:40 and 10:40 a.m. Wednesday from the women's locker room in the White Building, Penn State Police Services said. The value was estimated at $500, police said.
