Police Log

Burglary/Theft: A window on the west side of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, 200 E. Beaver Ave., was broken and a stereo was reported stolen Sunday afternoon, the State College Police Department said.

The incident occurred at about 2:25 p.m., police said.

Value is unknown and the case is currently under investigation, police said.

Theft: Abercrombie & Fitch, 138 S. Allen St., reported two men in their 20s stole clothing valued at around $4,000 about two weeks ago, State College police said.

The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on April 9th, police said.

Police are requesting that three witnesses contact the department at 234-7150 with any information.

Theft: Between 35 and 40 transmissions were reported stolen from Pro Trans Transmission Specialists, 401 Commercial Blvd., State College police said.

The incident occurred sometime Sunday, police said.

The transmissions were stolen with the probable intent of resale, and their value is estimated at $100 to $150 each, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
