If Saddam had a weapon he would have used it

The war on Iraq is almost over. The combined forces of United States, United Kingdom and Australia have defeated Iraq. However, as the war comes to a close the question that comes up is: Where are those weapons of mass destruction that Iraq was supposed to have? U.S. troops are all over Iraq. Certainly, any factory or plant that manufactured such weapons would have been found by now.

However, not even a trace of any biological/chemical weapon has been found. This can only mean that Iraq did not have these weapons in the first place. If Iraq did not have such weapons then it appears that Saddam was right all along and Bush was lying.

Certainly, I realize that many people will still not agree with me. To them, I would ask that if Iraq did have those weapons hidden somewhere then why didn't Saddam use them? If Saddam consciously chose not to use these weapons, then this shows he is a gentleman who did not resort to such a course even when his own life was in danger (Compared to the U.S. attitude when it bombed thousands of innocent Japanese men, women and children in WWII).

It appears that there are only two choices to make here: Either agree that Iraq did not have any such weapons and the attack on Iraq was due to imperialistic designs or agree that Saddam is a gentleman who values the lives of U.S. soldiers more than his own. So, which way is it going to be?
