Police find possible link in Willard thefts

Penn State Police Services is investigating a possible connection between two thefts of electronic equipment that occurred over the weekend in Willard Building, police supervisor Clifford Lutz said. The first incident was reported to police around 11 p.m. Sunday night after a staff member reported the theft of a computer and other computer accessories, totaling $2,500, from 160 Willard, police said. The incident occurred sometime between 3:49 p.m. Friday and 10:51 p.m. Sunday, police said. Police said they received report of a second theft around 1 a.m. Monday from 60 Willard that included a computer and a DVD/VCR player. The theft, estimated at $1,500, occurred sometime between 6 a.m. Sunday and 1 a.m. Monday, police said.
