Three men raped a Penn State student in a South Garner Street yard early Sunday morning.

When Penn State allowed Anwar Phillips to play in the Capital One Bowl in January, it may have violated a Big Ten rule that states a player who has been suspended from school "shall become immediately ineligible."

Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity members will have a place to call home next fall.

State College Police Chief Tom King will present the protocol for his proposal to install surveillance cameras in Beaver Canyon to Borough Council at its work session tonight.

PHILADELPHIA -- On a day that demanded perfection, the No. 1 Oklahoma men's gymnastics team (26-0) proved that it was the epitome of excellence by capturing its second consecutive national championship at the Liacouras Center on the Temple University campus.

It was clear that there is still plenty of time remaining in spring practice for Nittany Lions football. On Saturday, Penn State held its annual coaches clinic, which is highlighted by a weekend-ending scrimmage.

Reality is quickly setting in for Ed DeChellis.

The streak is over.

Just four days ago, the Penn State baseball team was sitting in a tie for second place in the Big Ten with an opportunity to claim first.

The game of softball can be won or lost with the smallest of decisions.

They've been doing it all season long, so why stop now?

The Penn State women's tennis team came out of its last two home matches of the season empty-handed this past weekend. The Northwestern Wildcats (14-7, 6-1 Big Ten) and the Wisconsin Badgers (8-10, 3-4) came to Happy Valley to face off against a Nittany Lion team searching for a big win.

This past weekend, after 15 events, the Penn State men's outdoor track and field team finally overtook Princeton for first place in the USTCA Series Meet at the Nittany Lion Track. The Nittany Lions went on to increase their lead and finish ahead of Princeton 213.5 points to 189.5. The University of Pennsylvania came in third with 69 points.

It was one of the larger-scale meets of the season and the Penn State women's outdoor track team pulled off one of its best performances to date. The Nittany Lions earned 14 NCAA regional qualifying marks and broke two records this past weekend at the Sea Ray Relays in Knoxville, Tenn.

In an NCAA Northeast Regional meet that its coach, Steve Shephard, would call a "pressure cooker," the Penn State women's gymnastics team finished fourth out of six teams, ending any hopes of a shot at the national title.

The Penn State women's rugby team is probably glad it is out of West Chester.

It was a rough weekend involving nerves, high winds, and tough competition for the No. 38 Penn State's women golf team.

Limited water time this spring season didn't stop Penn State crew club from having a strong performance this weekend at the Knect Cup.
