Police Log

Bomb threat: Centre County emergency personnel reported Friday evening that they had received a bomb threat at Atherton Hall, Penn State Police Services said.

The building was evacuated for almost two hours as officials completed a bomb search.

Nothing suspicious was found, police said.

Theft: A visitor reported Saturday the theft of his bicycle from the bike racks in lot Orange B, Penn State Police Services said.

The lot is located at the intersection of Curtin Road and Bigler Road.

The incident occurred between around 5 p.m. Friday, police said.

The estimated value is $4,500, police said.



In case of an emergency, on or off campus, dial 911. For business and nonemergency calls, call the State College Police Department at 234-7150 and Penn State Police Services at 863-1111.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
