Greek Oscars award fraternities, sororities

The Greek Oscars, held last night at the Atherton Hotel, 125 S. Atherton St., granted many awards to Greek members.

Awarded Greek Man of the Year were Jonathan Sagot, Alpha Epsilon Pi, 425 Locust Lane and David Allen, Alpha Phi Alpha.

Diana Filo, Gamma Phi Beta, 108 South Cross Hall, and Randi Congleton, Zeta Phi Beta, 13 Shulze Hall, were awarded Greek Woman of the Year.

Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council chose a man and woman of the year, as did National Pan-Hellenic Council.

The chapter President of the Year was awarded to Joshua Funk, Acacia, 234 Locust Lane and Courtney Robinson, Sigma Gamma Rho, 1 Bigler Hall.

The Multi-Cultural Greek Council awarded Lambda Phi Epsilon fraternity and Sigma Omicron Pi sorority the Academic Excellence award.

Lambda Theta Phi fraternity was awarded the Outstanding Cultural Awareness award.

Sigma Gamma Rho sorority, 1 Bigler Hall, and Kappa Alpha Psi were awarded as winners of the National Pan-Hellenic Council Step Show on Saturday night for their step performances.
