Three men raped a Penn State student in a South Garner Street yard early Sunday morning.

The State College Police Department is investigating the incident.

The victim, a 19-year-old Penn State student, was walking home between 4 and 4:40 a.m. when three unknown white men approached her, according to police.

Police said the men took the victim to a yard on the 200 block of South Garner Street, raped her, and then left, heading toward Beaver Avenue on Garner Street .

Police describe the suspects as white men between 20 and 25 years old.
