The fourth annual Space Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow in HUB Alumni Hall. Attendees can explore exhibits related to Penn State research as well as participate in interactive activities for all ages.
Ann Schmiedekamp, associate professor of physics at Penn State Abington College and a NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory Solar System Ambassador, will speak at 10:15 and 11 a.m. in 302 HUB-Robeson Center about locations in the solar system that contain water and potentially some forms of life.
Jim Pawelczyk, assistant professor of physiology and kinesiology and former Columbia astronaut, will give his perspective on the future of the space program at noon in 302 HUB-Robeson Center.
