Letter to the Editor
Columnist should not complain about quotas

Your columnist is unhappy because he thinks conservatives are on the bottom of the heap at Penn State ("Conservatives are the group in the closet," April 8).

But, I thought conservatives loved the bottom of the heap? Isn't that why they always try to save a place there for struggling groups, such as non-whites, women, union members, gays, environmentalists, civil libertarians, etc.?

And, how can a conservative be so shameless as to whine about unfairness and ask for quotas? Sounds to me like
a believer in oppression and victimization.
