Penn State student facing trial for theft

A Penn State student arraigned on burglary charges faces a preliminary hearing at 8:30 a.m. today in Centre County Courthouse, Bellefonte.

Karl R. Raghina, 19, is charged with criminal attempt of theft by unlawful taking or disposition, criminal conspiracy, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, receiving stolen property, and criminal mischief.

According to the criminal complaint, on March 22 Raghina and an accomplice attempted to steal wheels and tires from a BMW car belonging to Joel Confer Toyota-BMW-Dodge, 120 E. Clinton Ave.
