Bluegrass jam band Railroad Earth will perform tonight at The Brewery, 233 E. Beaver Ave., with opening act Bear Meadows String Band. The group is made up of former members of defunct jam bands From Good Homes and Blue Sparks From Hell.

Railroad Earth is known for its appearances at major jam band summer events such as the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and the High Sierra Music Festival, but the group's sound often extends into folk, Celtic, jazz and rock music.

Tickets are $5, and the show is 21 and over. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the show begins at 9.
