The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Supreme Court's verdict on possible elections code violations was not available late last night.
The elections commission has charged that USG President and Vice-President-elect Ian Rosenberger and Takkeem Morgan and runners-up David Davis and Sara Ryan may have submitted questionable receipts on campaign T-shirts they purchased.
Candidates must submit receipts for all items purchased to ensure they are not receiving special deals and their competitors can obtain the same prices.
The candidates' hearings were last night and the court closed for deliberations around 11 p.m. The court has one week to rule on the cases, but is expected to decide before that.
If a ticket is found guilty and fined more than the amount left toward its $500 spending limit, those candidates could be disqualified from the presidential race.
