The Penn State equestrian team placed first on Sunday at the final show of the regular season at West Virginia. With its showing, Penn State won the region by an accumulated 72 points, which qualifies for Regionals and Zones.

The following riders placed for Penn State: Lindsey Phoebus (1st in Class 7, 1st in Class 8); Erin Jackson (1st in Class 5); Tanja Rebernik (5th in Class 4); Kara Spengler (1st in Class 3); Lesley Bartoletti (6th in Class 3); Christie Clingan (4th in Class 2B); Staci Campbell (2nd in Class 2B); Abby Pierotti (3rd in Class 2B); Crystal Lilliock (1st in 2B); Alicia Laughlin (2nd in Class 2B); Joel Lechene (2nd in Class 1).
