Steven Weiss (junior-media studies and American studies) and Mike Aiello (junior-political science) said students deserve to have an education devoid of corporate influences.
"We want to monitor who can donate to the school," Aiello said. "It's not just about the donations that are coming but the expectations that are attached."

Students also need a place to find alternative goods and services, Weiss said. Their proposed business would provide online space for students to sell used books directly to one another, Weiss said. "To build capital for the organization, we would sell organic foods to students at cheap prices," Weiss said.
One of the pair's long-term proposals includes the establishment of the Kyoto Protocol, a plan to reduce emissions on campus, Aiello said.

"We would talk to President [Graham] Spanier to find out where we stand now environmentally and where we need to be in the future," he said.
Weiss is a former USG town senator, a member of Delta Chi fraternity, 424 E. Fairmount Ave., and he has campaigned for ex-presidential candidates. Aiello is a three-year participant in the Interfraternity Council/Panhellenic Dance Marathon and a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, 409 E. Fairmount Ave.
"I'm the Ross Perot of these candidates," Weiss said.
