Drug suspects have their days in court

Ardalan Esteghlalian, 22, of 301 S. Pugh St., was granted a continuance for his preliminary hearing yesterday at Centre County Courthouse, Bellefonte.

Esteghlalian faces charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, delivery of a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication facility. Esteghlalian allegedly sold an eighth of an ounce of marijuana to a police informant Oct. 17. The new preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 9.

Luis Rosario, 18, of 204 Geary Hall, waived his preliminary hearing yesterday at Centre County Courthouse. Rosario is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. Rosario allegedly sold and eighth of an ounce of marijuana to a police informant Jan. 18.

Esteghlalian and Rosario's charges stem from a joint drug investigation by Penn State Police Services and the Centre County Drug Task Force.
