A cold front which moved through the area early this morning will induce rain showers throughout the early part of the day today. These showers and clouds will keep temperatures closer to average, with highs reaching the low 50s. Thursday and Friday will be quite pleasant with mainly sunny conditions and highs reaching into the 50s on Thursday and into the 60s on Friday. This warmup will be ahead of the next cold front, which will sweep through the Commonwealth on Saturday, dropping temperatures into the lower 40s for Sunday.
