Protesters are useful idiots for people who want an emotional mob to push public opinion in the direction of their own agenda. Today's protesters are useless idiots when it comes to the American well being.
They say protesting is the most patriotic act you can do. But when you disrupt the lives of your fellow citizens, block streets, interrupt classes, try to stop the government from running and prevent emergency medical vehicles from reaching the needy, you're not only unpatriotic, your unAmerican. That is not civil disobedience, it is terrorism and you should be arrested.
If the citizens of America and the world had solidarity in ousting Saddam Hussein's regime, there probably would be no war. Saddam held out hoping the protests and public opinion would save him. We have you to thank for the war: Thanks protesters; Thanks France, Germany and Russia. Saddam never would have stood against a unified Earth.
The protesters are in an uproar over civilian casualties. Saddam knows he can put civilians in his military installations and when struck by missiles he will claim America kills women and children. Saddam wants you to protest so the American government will stop hitting his military bases. Thanks protesters, for killing those civilians; Saddam wouldn't do it without you.
At the D.C. protests, some protesters chanted "Allah Akbar." This is the chant that the Islamic terrorists scream before they suicide bomb and kill people. It was also said as two airplanes crashed into the World Trade Center.
Protesters chant "No blood for oil" and call Bush a war monger. Yet, they fail to realize that if the United States wanted Iraqi oil, we could just lift the embargo on the country.
They argue that this is an immoral and unethical war. They say war is murder and murder is immoral. Yet many of these people will also protest to support abortion. I love how they choose when and where morals and ethics are applicable.
Protesters believe that we are engaged in unilateral action despite having the support of 40 nations. Unilateral means one, idiots.
Hollywood ... who really cares what a bunch of over-emotional high school and college dropouts have to say about politics anyway? These are people who curse Bush for being a "child killer" but then give awards to Roman Polanski, a rapist and pedophile. By the way, France harbors this guy from justice.
To this date, protesters have failed to come up with any coherent and logical argument as to why the United States should end the war because they spend too much time creating unoriginal chants and slogans, and making stupid protest costumes. Pardon my "French" but those costumes make you look like ... idiots.
Act Now to Stop War and End Racism (ANSWER) is one of the leading protest organizers today. Who are they? They are a front for the Workers World Party and an organization that worships Fidel Castro, murderous Stalin and praises Kim Jong-Il, the militaristic leader of North Korea. This is an organization that screams to free Mumia and other radical murderers, during their "peace protests."
The only peace protesters who deserve any ounce of respect are the ones who stick to their guns (no pun intended) and protest all military action; Amnesty International is one such organization. They condemned both Slobodan Milosevic and Saddam and demanded they be brought to trial for crimes against human rights ... but then they protest the military action taken to get Saddam. What are we going to do, talk him into surrendering?
Protesters fail to remember that Bill Clinton mobilized thousands of American troops and invaded Haiti with no protests.
Clinton bypassed the United Nations and sought NATO action in the former Yugoslavia, which was unilateral action by protester definition. He bombed Bosnia and never saw massive protests against his actions. And, oh yeah, Clinton bombed Iraq too.
Why was there no protesting in the '90s under the "militaristic" Clinton administration? The protests in the United States are anti-Republican, and I attribute the protests around the world as jealousy-infused anti-American attitude. Protesters around the world are reacting not to Bush, but to a decade of American foreign policy and global superiority, policy often supported or created by Clinton.
These protesters should do something more constructive and less hypocritical and protest the brutal treatment of the Iraqi people by their evil dictator Saddam. Instead, they would rather play partisan politics, disrupt the lives of their fellow Americans and burn our country's flag. They are too busy being liberals, radicals, communists and Democrats to actually care about the civil liberties and human rights of an oppressed people.
I can't wait until we see the freed Iraqi people dancing in the streets and coalition troops rolling out Iraqi weapons with "Made in France" stickers on them.
Evil succeeds when good people do nothing. The protesters, France, Germany and Russia want us to do nothing; they are useful idiots for Saddam and evil people everywhere. For good people, the protesters are useless idiots. Thanks protesters, the blood is on your hands.
