Why are the Dixie Chicks receiving such backlash for insulting George W. Bush and the state of Texas, yet nobody said anything when they wrote a song encouraging killing your husband? Sure, it was lighthearted, but it is my contention that if a man had written the exact same song about his wife, he would be jailed. I guess the moral of the story is "Mess with your husband, fine, but don't mess with Texas."
