The Central Pennsylvania Country Dance Association announces a Contra Dance at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the State College Friends School, 1900 University Drive.

Square Dance Caller Bob Nicholson, from Syracuse, N.Y., will be joined by local musicians Crooked Stovepipe.

Beginning dancers are welcome, and no partner is needed. There is an admission fee of $5 for members, $7 for non-members and a $4 special fee for students with identification.
