Police Log

Theft: The State College Police Department reported that six vehicles were broken into between 3 and 7 a.m. yesterday in the lower McAllister Street parking lot.

Police said forced entry was used, and stereo equipment and CDs were reported stolen.

The case is still under investigation, and witnesses are asked to contact police at 234-7105 with any information.

Theft: A student reported the theft of a camcorder from his Mifflin Hall room between Jan. 24 and Tuesday, Penn State Police Services said.

The estimated value of the loss is $800, police said.

State College police are located at 243 S. Allen St. in the Municipal Building.

University police are located in the Eisenhower Parking Garage on campus.
