Today's University Park forecast

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow once again yesterday, predicting winter to continue for another six weeks. For this week at least, he will be mostly correct. High temperatures will be above normal today, due to a flow of mild air from the southwest ahead of an approaching warm front. The system associated with this front will arrive tonight into tomorrow morning. Rain will fall first, eventually changing to snow. With the passage of this storm, the Northeast will return to the cold conditions that have been prevalent for the previous month.
