The letter suggests that the Loops should be outfitted with GPS equipment and linked to a tracking Web site. I am writing to inform the author and others that a team to devise such a system already exists.

Within the Envisioneers Organization, there is a project called the Loopfinder. The Loopfinder team is working to develop a bus tracking system and a Web site to display the location of the Loop buses. Ultimately, the goal is to have some way of indicating the location of the buses at each individual Loop stop as well.

However, for now, the Loopfinder team is primarily concerned with being able to track our prototyping units and display their locations on a Web Applet.
