I think it would be best to make a clarification regarding my recent letter to the editor ("Lady Lions basketball is less embarrassing," Jan. 29 letter). I wrote the letter independent of any affiliation with the Penn State Sports Information office and it was meant to represent only my own personal views in support of the Lady Lions, not those of the office, the university or its Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
