The body of former Penn State student and current Penn State employee James P. Lettieri, 27, of West Simsbury, Conn., was discovered Tuesday night in a laboratory in the Materials Research Institute at the Penn State Innovation Park.

Penn State employee commits suicide in lab
CORRECTION: James P. Lettieri graduated with his doctorate from Penn State in December but was not affiliated with the university at the time of his death.
Centre County Coroner Scott Sayer has ruled the death a suicide.
