NEWS

Spike Lee wasted no time last night before referring to that other speech.

By day, Brian Kohler studies thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.

The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) Senate wrangled with legal issues last night before violating at least two USG Supreme Court orders.

Penn State will start accepting new offers to buy Circleville Farm in late March, a university official said yesterday after a presentation to the University Faculty Senate.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) hopes to end inspection sticker fraud by issuing stickers with security devices.

Design sketches show the new business building will not only be the largest but also the most prominent building on campus after construction begins this year.

A request by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to enact a resolution supporting the protection of constitutional rights has divided the State College Borough Council.

SPORTS

As the Penn State fencing team continues to squash its opponents, it has seen few changes of late.

Cock a doodle do, Cock a doodle do, Cock a doodle do.

It's a hard time to be a Penn State basketball fan.

Some coaches choose to play a small lineup; others are forced to out of necessity. The No. 14 Penn State women's basketball team (16-5, 6-1 Big Ten) came into the season banking on its four-guard offense with one lone post presence, Ashli Schwab, who averaged just 2.3 points per game last season.

The Big Ten conference is known for its combination of great athletics and academics.

Since arriving in Happy Valley, Penn State women's track and field coach Beth Alford-Sullivan has made recruiting a top priority. In her four years as head coach, Alford-Sullivan has had some of the better recruiting classes at Penn State in recent history.

It wasn't supposed to be this difficult.
