Living Issue

There are many choices to consider in a decision to live off campus. Is it more important to live close to campus in a small apartment or is it better to take a bus to classes, and have more room to spread out? How many bedrooms? How many roommates? How much can you afford in rent? Are there any amenities you can't live without? With approximately 40 realty companies in State College, it is likely you can find a living space that meets your needs.

When students receive applications for parking permits during the summer, they are reminded of the various other transportation options that exist in State College.

It's that time of the year. Snow is falling, mugs are steaming and housing contracts are hot-hot-hot.

Michelle Manfroni enjoys living in her Cedarbrook apartment on Beaver Avenue.

As most students rush around trying to locate the best apartment and sign the lease, others are sitting in their living rooms, relaxing.

Roommate horror stories. Everyone has one, or knows someone who does. The Collegian Living Magazine asked a few of you for your quirky roommate stories. Many people were hesitant to share, fearing that the strange roommate would return for revenge after being talked about in the paper. Here are the stories we collected.
