Protesters should talk about killing of unborn
Let us hope that the zeal that David J. Brown and Laura S. Brown evidenced in their "best sense of the term 'pro-life' " letter ("PSU anti-war protesters had a strong presence," Jan. 21 letter) -- in particular, their concern with the killing of innocents as a result of war -- carries over to an equally zealous response about the killing of innocents in womb since Roe v. Wade. The latter now stands at 40 million and counting. And if there was ever an argument against a so-called "unjust war," it exists in the war waged directly against our children for the insane specious reasons of "reproductive rights" which exclude any rights of our children to live. Without life, there are no other issues, period! So let us apply the slogan of the "peace marchers" where it more appropriately belongs given the history of this country's laws supporting the killing our of our children. "No more war! Never again, war on our children!" I wonder how many of the peace zealots stopped to consider the hypocrisy of advocating not killing children in war while having no problems killing them in peace.
